INSANITY Day 18: Cardio Recovery (Round 3)   <— Video Blog

Whew!! Finally, a bit of a break! I really needed a recovery day today. My body has been so exhausted this whole week! Today was just what the doctor ordered!  After finished Day 18 of INSANITY, I feel much better!  I feel like tomorrow I will have full energy for my workout, and I am really looking forward to it.  My body is still a little tired, but I feel like the stretching today and a good night sleep tonight will have me fully rejuvinated for tomorrow’s workout!  I am still feeling really good about the progress I have seen and am still seeing and can’t wait to see it continue! INSANITY Day 17: Pure Cardio (Round 4) & Cardio Abs (Round 2)

INSANITY Day 17: Pure Cardio (Round 4) & Cardio Abs (Round 2)  <— Video  Blog

The word of the day today is EXHAUSTED!!!  My whole body is tired. I can feel the fatigue in my legs and arms.  Even when I’m just walking up the steps, I can feel that my legs are tired.  I am very much looking forward to my recovery day tomorrow.  Although the recovery days are hard, they are not quite as rough on your body as the other days.  Today I felt like my legs were giving out on me.  I pushed as hard as I could, but I know I took more breaks than usual today.  I’m thinking about adding about 100 calories to my diet to see if giving my body a little more fuel will stop the muscle exhaustion.  Some good news, I lost another pound, down to 144lbs.  That’s 8.5 lbs in 16 days, which I am really happy with. My weight loss isn’t on as excelerated a pace as it was in the beginning, but I knew that would slow once I really got into it.  Good luck with your INSANITY journey!  Don’t forget to sign up for your own FREE Beachbody account!  See you tomorrow!

INSANITY Day 16: Plyometric Cardio Circuit (Round 4)

INSANITY Day 16: Plyometric Cardio Circuit (Round 4)  <—- Video Blog

Wow, was I exhausted today!! My whole body felt tired during my workout, especially my legs!  I take that as a testament to how hard I pushed yesterday during my fit test. I really gave it my all, and I think my body was still recovering today. I still worked hard during the Plyometric Cardio Circuit, but I felt like I struggled more than I did last time I did this workout.  However, that could also mean that I’ve moved to a new level.  It could be that I am pushing myself harder, doing more repetitions, and therefore, have to take more breaks!  I’m hoping that is the case.  That really is the beauty of this workout.  No matter how in-shape you are or how many times you do the workout, it will always be challenging because the goal is to push yourself to your limits!  When your limits go up, you push harder until they go up again!
