The P90X / Insanity Workout Challenge Day 18
Today’s workout was Insanity’s core cardio and balance workout. Overall the workout is one of the easier ones. It begins with the cardio portion which isn’t too difficult compared to the other Insanity workouts. The balance portion is the last part of the workout. I have to say that this is more challenging than the cardio portion.

The P90X / Insanity Workout Challenge Day 17
I am in the rest week portion of my workout and in keeping with that today’s workout was the P90X’s Core synergistic workout. Like Kempo X, you get what you put into it. Usually I dog it during this workout because it is so boring but not today. I challenged myself today to stay ahead of Tony and to do more reps that he did. It workout out for the most part. The only exercise that I still hate is the Dreya Roll. I still think that it is useless but nonetheless I did it anyways.

The P90X / Insanity Workout Challenge Day 16
Today’s workout was Insanity’s cardio abs. I have to say that I am not a big fan of this workout. The first reason is that it isn’t too long (16 minutes) and the second is that I didn’t really feel like a got a great ab workout. Don’t get me wrong, my abs were challenged but I get a much better workout from the P90X’s Ab Ripper. You want to talk about an ab workout, check out the Ab Ripper. It too is only 15 min. long but the exercises are well organized. There is never a morning after the Ab Ripper that I don’t feel a bit sore.
To make up for the short workout I ran on my treadmill for 30 minutes. I almost got to 4 miles.
The P90X / Insanity Workout Challenge Day 15
Today’s workout was the P90x’s Kempo X workout. I have read in some people’s blogs that they really don’t like this workout and I have to say that you get what you put into it. First off it is a nice change of pace. There are completely different body movements compared to the other workouts. Also, I have found that if you wear hand weights that the workout is extremely intensified. I purchased Beachbody’s hand weights and have never regretted buying them. They don’t weigh that much, only .75 pounds each, but wearing those for an hour of punching and you will feel the difference for sure.
The P90X / Insanity Challenge Day 14
Today’s workout was Insanity’s plyometric workout. Again, this workout is extremely tough. It usually gets my heart rate up to around 170 for the duration of the workout. When I was done I was soaked in sweat and felt like I just ran a mini-marathon.
