My P90X Transformation
Looking back on a decision that I made back in mid-July, I am extremely happy with my decision to purchase and use the P90X to completion. I have just finished my 13th and final week of the program and I feel great! I managed to lose and keep off 20 pounds of fat! During those 13 weeks I worked extremely hard and adhered to a 2500 calorie a day diet. If you have never dieted before, 2500 calories a day is a pretty decent amount of food. However, I was burning around 3100 calories a day with the P90X workouts. Losing 700 calories a day multiplied by doing the workouts 6 days a week, I lost a little over 1 pound a week of fat. If you are looking to lose weight the right way, than purchasing a P90X is the right choice for you.
The P90X is a box set of 12 workouts: 8 strength and 4 cardio workouts. It comes with a 13 week regimented workout schedule that keeps the workouts fun and your muscles guessing. The P90X prides itself on being built upon the concept of muscle confusion. The individual exercises are organized and vary over the 13 week period. This “confuses” the muscles and ultimately forces them to improve at a faster rate than what you would experience in the gym working out by yourself.
It also comes with an extremely detailed diet that will help you achieve the results that you want.
The P90X is a revolutionary workout system. It has been around for nearly 7 years but is just beginning to become popular and well-known because it took some time for the “word” to get out.
You can read more about the P90X and watch a video on it here on this website. In the upper right hand corner is a picture of the P90X trainer, Tony Horton. Click in the picture on read about the program. I have also posted a blog video that details the P90X. It should be towards the bottom of this page or in my later archives. Take a minute and watch the video.
If you do decide to purchase the P90X and dedicate yourself to getting in shape, I have to tell you about the Coaching aspect. There are two great reasons to be a Beachbody Coach. Team Beachbody is the company that created the P90X and many other workouts. The first reason you need to sign-up to be a Beachbody Coach is that if you immediately get 25% off of all your purchases. That immediately knocks about $35 off of the P90X. You continue to get 25% off of all of your purchases from Team Beachbody. I used the discount to purchase my P90X, a chin-up bar, and some protein bars throughout my 13 week workout period. It costs only 14.99 a month to be a Beachbody Coach. It just makes sense and will save you money if you sign-up to be a Team Beachbody Coach and get the 25% off.
The second reason to be a Beachbody Coach will put money in your pocket. This took me about 10 weeks to do, but I am know making around $100 a month and it only cost me $15 a month to be a coach. So right now I am getting in the best shape of my life and I am getting paid for it. It took some time and patience on my end, but it is now well worth it. There is no calling or bothering people.
Beachbody just began offering this Coaching option 3 years ago. It is catching on fast and some people are having great success with it. My friend Brad got me involved in Coaching and he makes a nearly 4 figures a week. His success keeps me going and motivated.

P90X: The Eleventh Week
The 11th week has come and gone and so has 1 pound of body fat. I am now down to 173 lbs., 3 pounds from my goal of 170. I am going to pick it up a notch in these final two weeks. After I reach my goal of 170, I am going to increase my diet from 2500 calories/day to around 2900. I am going to focus on staying lean but increasing my muscle mass a bit.

Day 1: 195 lbs

Day 90: 172 lbs
During this week I have really noticed a difference in my pull-ups. These have always been very difficult for me. When I first began P90X I could barely do 2 chin-ups, which are the easiest style. 11weeks later I am doing 11-13 chin-ups, 6-8 wide front pull-ups, and 3-4 corn cob pull-ups. When I first attempted corn-cob pull ups I thought that Tony Horton was crazy, which he is by the way. I may have even said some not nice things to him too. I thought there was no way I could do these. But I forced myself to and over the weeks I went from 0 corn cobs to 3-4.
I also started a P90X workout group at the school I work at. As of now, the group is at 5 members. We work out in one of the gyms each day after school for about an hour each day. I began the group on my scheduled workouts. I thought that even though it was week 11, they were there to work out and work out they would!
On the first day that we met I was scheduled to do plyos. Now, I did not want to scare them away so I asked them if they wanted to do the toughest cardio workout the P90X had to offer. They all kinda shrugged their shoulders and said “sure, lets do it!”. Fast forward a week and they are all still all there! I told them that if they could make it through plyos, they could make it through any of the p90X workouts.
Word is spreading and it sounds like the group is going to continue to grow. I plan on continuing the P90X workouts throughout the school year. If all goes well, by the time June rolls around, I should be just surpassing day 310 on my P90X workouts. I would like to see the P90X group grow to around 20 members.
I am also a Coach for Team Beachbody. Once I start to make some cash coaching, I am going to introduce the opportunity to a few of the members who I feel would be good at it. My good friend Brad had been a Coach for Team Beachbody for a little over a year is making $700-$800 a week as a Beachbody Coach. That is $40,000 a year!!!
The Coach that I signed up under, Chris, is also a good friend of mine. He has been a coach for about 3 months. He just began making money and is making between $20-$50 a week. Now that may not seem like a lot, but over a month it addds up to $80-$200. A little more each week and he will have erased his car payment. How about that, no more car payment!
Making money Coaching does not require you to be a salesperson. If that was the case I would have never gotten into it because I hate trying to sell people things that they don’t want. If you want to know more about coaching, email me, or watch the compensation plan video on my “Make Money Getting In Shape” page.
This Coaching opportunity was introduced by Team Beachbody only 3 years ago. It is really almost too good to be true. It requires about2-4 hours of work on the computer a week. If you get into Coaching early, you will have a ton of people benaeth you and will be on your way to an increased state of financial security. I plan on taking my wife to Hawaii and buying a sports car in two years. Hey, everyone needs goals! I look forward to hearing from you!
