Rock-N-Roll Insanity…
So here is my first post. And I am super excited that Nate has asked me to write a blog about my training. I actually think it is going to keep me focused and more determined to stick with the program.
I am currently in my fourth week of training for the Rock-N-Roll half-marathon in Phoenix Arizona. The race is January 17th, 2010.
I have already run three half- marathons and have gotten my times under the two hour mark. So I am SUPER excited to see what Insanity and P90X will do for my running.
I have just recently started double work outs- where I am doing Insanity or P90x after school and then going out and working out AGAIN at the gym. The first two weeks were tough, and I felt that I was walking rather than running on the treadmill, but today was different. I was actually excited to see that after doing the Insanity workout I was actually running pretty fast. A little above my pace- which is awesome. I know that there are going to be days that I hate working out twice, but this is for all you people who think it can’t be done. All it takes is for you to get motivated- and I am motivated and seeing results in all that I am doing. Now if only I could get my diet under control……….
