P90X / Insanity Challenge Day 19
Today was my first workout since my battle with pneumonia 6 weeks ago. Today I completed the P90X’s Chest &Back workout along with the Ab Ripper at the end. I have to say that I am not as out of shape as I thought I was. I managed to complete the workout and shave about 5 minutes off of it. I took five minutes off of the workout by hitting the “next-chapter” button after each exercise.
When I go to the Ab Ripper I had to take it easy. I didn’t want to wake up tomorrow morning and not be able to sit up in bed so I made it a point to only to15-20 reps of each of the exercises. I plan on doing the 25 reps per exercise by the end of my second week. My goal this summer is to have to ripped abs. I plan on accomplishing this goal my eating right and finishing each exercise with the proper form.
Here are my workout results. The first # is the first round, second # is the second round.
- Standard Push ups 23/16
- Wide Front Pull-Ups 6/4
- Military Push-Ups 14/8
- Reverse Grip Pull-Ups 7/5
- Wide Fly Push-Ups 15/10
- Close Grip Pull-Ups 4/4
- Decline Push-Ups 12/8
- Heavy Pants 10 reps @50 lbs both sets
- Diamond Push-Ups 10/8
- Lawnmovers 8@50 lbs / 10@50 lbs.
- Dive Bomber Push-Ups 6/7
- Back Flys 10@30lbs both sets
